In this video interview, composer Kurt Oldman describes how he uses Figure 53's Streamers as a critical part of his workflow when scoring film and television. "Before I started working with Streamers ... there were a lot of redundant kinds of tasks. With Streamers, everything that has to do with video is really very, very streamlined."

It's A ‘Killer Holiday’

Kurt Oldman signs on to score the new horror/thriller, KILLER HOLIDAY, Directed by Marty Thomas and produced by Jon Zuber and Ridiculous Pictures.

About The Film: Taylor, a former juvenile delinquent, convinces straight-'A' student, Cammi to join her and her friends on a Spring Break road trip through the California desert. Ignoring evil premonitions from Cammi, the 8 friends party heavily as they get farther and farther away from civilization along old Route 66 with a killer in pursuit. Anxiety builds as each stop along the way proves stranger and stranger until the group is lured to an abandoned amusement park with a mysterious past far off the main highway. There the group discovers that the park comes complete with broken down vintage carnival rides, shocking surprises, the smell of death, and an enticing, young tattooed serial killer named Spider.

Showtime picks up ‘KOPC’

The Urban Drama, KING OF PAPER CHASIN' (KOPC) will play on Showtime. Scored by Kurt Oldman KOPC chronicles the story of a drug dealer Dwayne DL Clark trying to give up criminal life and embrace his newfound celebrity as a hit on the underground mixtape circuit discovers that a former associate is plotting against him and his ex-girlfriend is cooperating with authorities to bring him down. Piarry Oriol and Jason Rivera costar in this gritty street thriller.

Red Arc Music Releases ‘John Doe’ by Kurt Oldman

Music library, Red Arc Music announced the launch of their new TV Series, IGNITION. As part of this new release Kurt Oldman has completed a CD, JOHN DOE featuring 22 tracks. He is also this month's Spotlight Composer.

‘Stained’ Goes To Sedona

STAINED is an Official selection of the very well respected Sedona International Film Festival. The festival runs from Feb 20-27 of 2011.

Directed by Jesse Collver this film chronicles the story of and older couple, separated 40 years ago in WWII, who find each other again.

The beautifully, emotional score was recorded with LA Session musicians and conducted by Kurt Oldman.
